[Midnight Rose Requiem VST]

Hello Folks,

     Well the fifth Weekend of the month is upon us and another Requiem game
is planned for the Norwich domain. You are all cordially invited to come and
join in was is hopefully and interesting and enjoyable game. Game will be
Saturday night with check in staring at seven and game planned to start at
eight.
     Below is a summary (of sorts) of the recent happenings and some of the
more pertinent news. Feel free to dig a little before game, but the best
secrets will kept for Saturday night.



*Recent Events*

     Strangers visiting and puzzling packages have graced the court in the
most recent meetings of the court. The Prince is traveling and he has left
matters to Sheriff, how long will the Don be away? and how will Mr. Ettore
guide the city?

      The Prince when he last attended court announced that he would be
traveling to the west coast and would no be available. He left the capable
Mr. Ettore in charge and he has handled matters in his own delicate way.
Strangers have emerged from the darkness, a German immigrant with poor
English skills and an exotic temptress from foreign lands.

     A box locked by a puzzle was delivered early in the night. The Prince
opened the container to find another puzzle in the form of an encrypted
message. Once deciphered it revealed a note accepting a challenge. The Don
made his feelings apparent, and some might note that it seems the Don is
more comfortable with physical encounters. Of course some would say that the
mysterious challenger knows this and is using to keep the Prince off
balance. It seems somebody is more interested in a chess match than a brawl.


     The city is becoming a dangerous place for strangers as Mister Ettore
completes his duties with cold and calculating precision. How far is he from
being completely overwhelmed by the beast is anybodies guess but evil seems
to be an apt description of him. Will the rest of the court succumb to his
will and become accomplice to his crimes or will they quietly avoid
interaction. Etiquette and authority may force some to face decisions they
are not comfortable with.

 *Rumors *

Bella has gone feral and disappeared into the woods, if she returns it is
not the rumors of her diablere that the court will have to worry about.

The puzzle box is an elaborate ruse by the Prince to draw his opponents out
from their cover.

The full blood moon and the conjunction of the vernal equinox with another
fool moon has proven to be an auspicious omen. Word of a prophesy boasting a
Saviour have have emerged from aboriginal populations, there are rumors a
path of blood leading to a prisoner is the key.

In mortal news, the recently applauded improvements to the Windham Airport
allowing the use of small private jets has been marred by accusations of
corruption. It seems the the Department of Transportation budget had been
misappropriated to accomplish the renovations.

With DOT accounts drained and budgets stretched to to the limit is seems
that this winter's damage to the roads will not be repaired. This leaves
some people saying, "It doesn't do much good to fix the airport if you can't
drive away from it."

The frogmen have lured hunters to the area. It seems that Groatnik are the
harbingers of the return of and evil God. Some don't want this to happen and
are willing to do almost anything to prevent it.

Monolith Advanced Weapon Development (MAWD) has shown interest in a new
prototype facility for the area.
