[CamRI] Rotes and Stuff!

I like this idea of getting together and doing. As a matter of fact
because this is a conversion the ST has a little leeway with purchases.
What does that mean? Well we can make sure we complement each other
better, "mechanically". But it would also give us some time to make some
more ties instead of just being together because we're mages. Hell, I
would like to tie in with Seth now that he's back as well, I don't like
how forced our interaction was last game.
New VST? New city building renovation?
Just some thoughts
Jim

Okay all as per the addendum a couple of things:
"Wards and Bans"
This is not usually an issue, but We do have several Mastigos, and a
resident Space Master and this is a big thing with Space.
"Objects and creatures cannot be the target of a Ward, but are protected
within a Ward's area."(A.5.03)
As I understand it, this basically means that wards and bans cannot be
use
to deny entrance or exit to specific creature types, characters or
things
(like guns or Winnie the Pooh) Wards and Bans do effect apparantly (and
I
may be reading this wrong so feel free to disagree and we'll come to
some
sort of arrangement)ideas, abstractions and concepts. No idea why this
is
the ruling, perhaps someone with a little more brains than I can
clarify.
Secondly and this is the ruling I think we've been waiting for!
"If a rote title includes an Order name, assume the rote is common, with
versions available to all mages. If an alternate test system is allowed
for another Order, only that Order may learn the test system without
High
Approval."Rotes [A.6.01]
In other words back to the basics in the book. If a rote has a name,
it's
a common rote that is available to all characters; only rotes that are
specific to traditions, legacies or factions are high approval to learn.
One Final note,
We have to convert PCs to the new rules by February 1st. Since most of
us
do not have the new book (myself included) I would put it on the table
that we convert the PCs before the start of next game. Yes this will
cutting into game time. If anyone has suggestions like a possible cam
social to work this out one night when we're all free, we can do that, I
don't know what people's schedules are like.
