Good Evening,

This weekend sees the arrival of New England's Game Of The Month
returning to the serene surrounds of Providence, Rhode Island. There is
a full weekend of fangs and fast-casting planned. We look forward to
seeing locals and guests, new players and old alike joining in our grand
ol' time.

I even promise as DST that NPC tax agents will be available, for
blood-draining, Matter transmutations, and anything else you have the
Morality to pull off.

NOTE: In order to make space for all the IC news, we've forgone adding
endless site directions. The RI-002 domain is pleased to encourage all
visitors to use AAA, Google Maps, Tom-Tom, or any other reputable
directions-giving service. If you do not have access to such services,
than please contact the DST and such can be provided to you.

The following contains items of fiction, any similarities to real life
events are purely coincidental. These events have never happened.

Fellow Walkers of the Night,

It has been sometime since I have had a formal social gathering. In this
I have tasked The Reverend James Howard in conjunction with Julian
Carver to host an event at The Club owned by J.C. himself. If you have
never been there I promise J.C.'s staff will entertain.

Also during this night's events I will put forth an old game. The winner
shall receive a prize. That prize will be any one boon that has been
owed to me of the winner's choosing shall be transferred to the winner.
Yes no matter the value of said boon, if it is owed to me it will be
yours for the asking.

So, I welcome you, citizens of the region to come enjoy our hospitality.

Prince Chief Tschitquihilleu Elauwit

Sunday, April 20th

Awakening

Check-In: 7pm

Hard RP: 8pm

Location: 73 Mooreland Ave., Cranston, RI 02910

Site Notes:

Cats and dogs live in the house. Site will be clean, but allergy meds
are suggested.

Food vendors are available in the area.

Crash space is NOT available at the site.

Parking is very limited, a late carpool is preferred to 4 timely cars.

TEASERS:

Alas, poor Providence. It seems just when they get their hat on straight
another wind comes by to knock it off again. There are dark secrets
below the light-hearted, often silly veneer and events seem set to
shatter the peace and set one upon another. How many murders is one too
many? How many mistakes? And how long will those who shape reality grow
weary of their colleagues' weaknesses and take steps to "fix" them?

Outside the Sanctum, things get even worse. A clever foe seeks to summon
hell onto earth and slipped right through the fingers of those who
underestimated him. Now, the PCs must meet with a mysterious stranger to
learn anything they can about this new threat. All they know is that he
sits, plotting his next attack, in a fortress atop a mountain in a realm
filled with an army of monsters willing to die to serve his whim.

General Domain Teasers:

Found in tabloids, new clips, etc:
"Girl found dying in night club!

21 year old female died on her way to Woman and Infants hospital. The
name is currently withheld for the privacy of the family. Security
states they found her in the ladies room passed out; obviously on drugs,
most likely E mixed with harder substances. Witnesses say they could see
the girls bloodied foot from under a stall. 'It looked like some rat was
gnawing on her leg.' "

"Providence Plagued by Brown Outs

The electric company cannot explain the recent increase in brown outs in
the city's metro area. While the grid hasn't gone down, there have
definitely been some serious power shorts in localized areas. This
reporter believes its a secret military experiment where the common folk
would never expect it...."

"Cow Tipping Gone Wild

Teenagers scare themselves tipping over dead cows. "I ain't seen
anything like it. They just died standing up."

"After Lion March, Locals Hope for no Showers"

March 2008 flipped the rules, roaring its way through the weeks leading
into April. Outdoor events were cancelled statewide. Many groups are
hoping April will be kinder. Ralph Davers of the local chapter of the
Youth Scouts of America states: "March was a bad month for our kids.
Several big events were cancelled due to weather. We're rescheduling for
April and hoping for an even better turn out". The RI Hiking League,
Ocean State Bicyclers, and the Lil' Rhody Boxcar Racing league all have
major events scheduled during the month. See the Life and Times section
for details.

Newport Church to hold Prayer Vigil for Pope

In honor of the arrival of the Pope this week, the Temple of the Holy
Lord will hold a continuous Prayer Vigil throughout the pontiff's stay
in the U.S. The vigil begins on Tuesday and will conclude on Sunday
night. The event will draw local stars and much needed attention to the
newly-renovated church, which has seen a range of misfortune in recent
years, culminating in the deadly 2006 blaze that claimed over half of
the building's upper level. Highlights of the vigil service include a
special mass on Wednesday honoring the Pope's birthday, Midnight masses
on Friday and Saturday, and a grand mass to be attended by the
archbishop on Sunday morning.
