As I am sure you are all aware of, these last few days have been quite
busy. I have not yet had a chance to speak with all of you, regarding the
group that has been dealing with the rogue mage element on our streets. I
have every confidence in your collective abilities, as you have already
brought down three, I am sure the rest will be brought to heel soon
enough. To that effect, I'd like to let you know what we know about the
events concerning the ACI

 English and I detained a guard named Charles Gault. He was expecting us
andwas prepared, and unfortunately we were unable to overcome the
distractions of the rats, glass and water to prevent the destruction of
his mind from another source, however before his mind ate itself, we did
discover some information:

     A. The prison was intended to be a diversion, The plan was to frag the
generator long enough to cause mass hysteria.
     B. He hated mages.
     C. He was Awakened.
     D. The last name he was thinking of was "Kelpie". It was someone he
trusted.
     e.The spell Charles cast was broad enough to disrupt the power conduits
going out to the psych ward located within the larger complex itself. we do
recall seeing the glass shred the pipes and rats feasting on the wires. The
power did go out for several minutes before the back up generators kicked
on. No inmates are reported missing or injured, that we are aware of.

To the diversion end, it is now apparent that our
dearly-demonic-dreamworld-dickhead Hypnos has decided to command his
followers to poison the local populace by means of a lotus plant extract
that has been distilled and concentrated. It makes the victim fall victim
to  hynos' machinations by altering the brainwaves during sleep. It is
also conceivable that Hypnos himself did not give the order, but rather
his followers took it upon themselves to poison the populace in order to
increase their master's power, by increasing the amount of victims and
dreams he can manipulate.
the poison is ingested into the body, and this substance is currently
being distributed by at least one Del's lemonade cart on a particular
south county beach (Jon McDowell knows the name of the beach I forget.)
They have chosen to poison both the cherry and the watermelon flavors.
Damn them. No self-respecting demon slips a mickey into the Watermelon
Del's Lemonade. It's just not done. It is unclear as to whether or not
this is the only cart. The proprieter, Nate a RISD student in sculpture,
as of this point appears to be an unconscious participant in the scheme.
(btw the Peach Mango is perfectly fine, but tastes like ass, so please be
advised.)
> The plan is to determine where the poisoning is taking place, either at
the central hub, or en route. How many other carts are being used at the
beach, I cannot say. However it does appear only del's is being used at
this point. The unsalted pretzels, and italian sausage with peppers and
onions are just fine if eaten with a side of tums. (We are very thorough
in our investigations.) English and I intend to buy a bucket o' slush at
the hub, and another bucket from the delivery truck. IF the slush is
tainted from the hub, then we know the poisoning is somewhere around the
central hub, if it is not present at the hub, but is present at the
delivery truck, then we know the poisoning is happening en route. If you
are interested in helping in the investigation, or if you just want a
good slush, come by and find us.

At this point at least four mages that I am aware of are present or
accounted for, (3 that are drugged, and one ate his brain) Cyrus and the
other rogue mage are still out there. As always, I will be here at the
chantry or at Muldowney's Pub on the days that end in "y".
