[CamRI] Mage VSS - A Contructive/Reconstructive look

So, our mage game has been suffering as of late, and I think it comes
from a clash of vision and expectation. Rather than attack what's wrong,
I say we the mage players express what we like, want, and expect out of
a mage game. If you could all comment constructively (ie don't words
like "not"), I think this thread would be a great resource for the STs.

Pace: 4/5

I would like to see short plots. I want them solved in 1 to 3 games with
facts and cookies coming freely. I want the choice of the PCs to be the
most important factor and the NPCs play second stage. A long term
antagonist would be nice but making them untouchable is something we
need to avoid.

Intrigue 1/2

Leave it at the door please. This is mage; I play requiem for that.
Let's face it we have a justice league, let's roll with it. Sometimes
it's fun to pretend to be the good guy.

Action 3/4

I like the start of combat to be done in pulls, but once the outcome is
apparent lets drop to scripting faster. Basically if the 20 minute mark
hits we really should script. More dukes of hazard slides, banked gun
shot tire blow outs, or plain good old stare downs. "I'll unkill him
later!"

Corruption and character death 3

If it happens it happens. I think we've developed who's on the edge,
who's clawing their way back, and who's the stalwart bastions of Wisdom.

Mystery 2/3

I'd prefer more knowledge and less guess work. Give us the info and let
us deal with it or not deal with it.

Manners 1

Yeah we have those?

Drama 1

Less Emo please.

Character Development 5

Every story should emphasis some development of a PC whether the general
populace realizes or not.

The more input the better.

Jim
