[CamRI] RI-002 Requiem This Friday Night!

Good Evening,

     This Friday Rhode Island will be hosting their monthly game. those
looking for a bit of interaction before CT east's GotM are encouraged to
stop by. The new VST (a very charming and clever man, I might add), has
promised a plot that will lead into the games being held in February at
TempleCon, as well as those plots hinted at in the teaser below. A new night
is falling in Providence, and new enemies are waiting in the darkness...

Pets: Cats in household, penned but bring allergy meds if needed
Children: Infant in household, in bed or out of game site before play begins
Food: Yes. Comestibles abound within three block radius.
Parking: Limited, but available at no cost. CARPOOLS ARE FUN!

OOC Notes: Guests are encouraged to let the ST know and provide a character
sheet in advance.
     Feeding Challenges: We will be using the abstract rules outlined in the
MET Requiem handbook. Players wil be asked to explain where they are feeding
and how and make an appropriate pull.
    Characters possessing the First Coil of Blood may elect to make their
Red/Black pull as normal. Visitors who "feed at home" will be asked to make
a hunting test as described above, with no chance for getting "pwned by
plot" if they pull an ace.

IC Notes: Providence has achieved a time of relative peace. Travel is safer
now than it has been in many years. This is not to say it is safe, merely
safer.

IC Teaser (Rumor Mill):
     Don Buonanno has joined the ranks of former princes of Providence and
the city welcomes his appointed replacement, Prince Kirshenbaum. All are
invited to pay their respects to this new management and share in the
prosperity of Providence, won by the blood and might of the Invictus and
their supporters.
     Travellers are advised to avoid Newport. No, there's nothing wrong
there, don't be silly. Just don't go there, alright? Good.
     Rumor has it that Prince Kirshenbaum will be reinstating the Advisory
Council of Lord Overstreet. It will be staffed by Prisci; those with clan
interests in the region may wish to see their faction gain a solid foothold
in the new regime.

1: "Did you see the date? 2007! Can you believe it?"

2: "I know, Mr. Rawlings, I can scarcely believe how much has changed."

1: "And how much hasn't. They're still at it, you know. But not all roses
from what I hear."

2: "Not at all, Mr. Rawlings, not at all. You'd think they'd have learned,
or at least done a better job of masking their weakness. Although, perhaps
it is for the best. It will make the transition easier. You know how
difficult they can be when it comes to change."

1: "Oh yes, quite so, milad! Although I've heard at least one thing's
changed; their new monarch...is a woman."

2: "Really?"

1: "Really. Rather fetching I'm told. With that lovely perfume of old money
about her."

2: "Honestly, Rawlings. One would think that, at your age, you'd have
learned there's more to a woman than lies between her purse strings."

1: "There was nothing that pleased me more in my youth and nothing that
better serves my interests now."

2: "Appalling, Rawlings, simply monstrous. Perhaps I shall call upon this
lady prince. I've often said a woman has twice the reason of a man. Who
knows? She may elect to do the right thing. Either way, the process will be
far more...pleasurable."
