[CamRI] [Requiem] Rules Announcement: News Items

Good Evening,

     The attentive eye will notice two things: one, I am now checking the
vstvampire account, so feel free to send emails there as appropriate,
especially sicne I likely won't be DC much longer. Secondly, they would
notice that the forums (http://www.camarillaprovidence.org/phpBB2/) have
been updated. Specifically, the Requiem IC section. To make my life easy and
my players have more of a puzzle that they can pursue at their leisure, I
have decided that I will NOT be announcing the local news tidbits. True or
false, lead or red herring, any news items and such minutiae will be posted
on the forums. If you want to check out these items, feel free to go there
at your convenience. If not, I'll happily drive entire plot busses right
under your nose.
     Now, I don't want to penalize those without regular internet access,
just allow those with more time on their hands to have something to keep
their appetite whet between games. So here's how it will go:

If you check the forums and decide you want to follow up on something, let
me know. Otherwise, enjoy the literature.
If you do not have internet access or time, you may spend a DownTime action
to "keep up on the local news". In this case, I will compile all of my posts
into an email each week and send them to you via your preferred contact.
Please note: IM, postal mail, or email only, I will not dictate the news
items to you over the phone.

I hope this will add a new little bit of fun to people's game and put more
of the story of your PC into your hands.
