Hey all,

Here are some notes taken from the Mage VSS city building:

Action: 3.5

The game should have more exiting scenes then plotty schemey scenes.

Combat: 4

We have a combat heavy troupe, who enjoy the combat when it comes early
in the night. We want to look back at it and go wow and still have time
to wrap things up.

ST initiated combat sould not start during the last 1.5 hours of the
game.

Character Development: 3

The player and the ST should bring an equal level of personal character
development to the table.

Corruption: 3.5

Hard decisions but we don't want as dark of a game as say Requiem.

Character death: 2 *possible but not likely

While we want the threat to be there, Providence has a strong history of
characters not dying.

Drama: 4

We prefer a focus on story and scripting over rules mechanics and
lawyering.

Intrigue: 2

Politics and backstabbing can go someplace else please.

Manners: 2

Would prefer to not have big ceremony/meeting during game. Prefer them
during "downtime".

Mystery: 3

A little bit goes a long way, but seconds is too much.

Pace: 3.5

We'd prefer smaller plots/ most plots to take its course over 2-4
months. Larger story arcs in the background to take a year. We want
closure events an a feeling of progress. We are tired of fighting the
perfect enemy who knows everything. We want to learn about the NPC or
occasional have the leg up over them. We want open ended plotlines with
closure potentials.

Paradox: 4

We enforce paradox expect to deal with it, and deal with it hard.

Thank you for coming,

James A Ruggiero
