[CamRI] Game Reminder: RI-001: TempleCon

Good Evening,

     This is a reminder that RI's monthly Requiem game will be held as part
of TempleCon, a local gaming convention. Information follows as well as
teasers. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Genre: Requiem
Dates: Friday, Feb. 16 & Saturday Feb. 17
Location: Westin Providence, *1 W Exchange St, Providence, RI 02903
              (VERY easy access from 95 and the Providence train station)*
Cost: 15$ at the door each day, admission grants you access to the whole con
during the day beforehand.

Teasers:

     Rumor has it that the Prince has issued a decree that all awakened or
newly embraced Kindred in the city should present themselves to the court as
soon as possible if they wish to retain standing in the court ("standing" is
used both as a verb and a noun). The Prince has also announced that she will
be hosting a gala charity event on Saturday evening, to which all Kindred
are welcome to attend. The function is a public "Date Auction" so guests are
advised that mortals will be in attendance. Other games may be held during
the event.
     In response to this information, Mr. Benjamin Bowen, the newly-appeared
Prefect of Providence, has invited all Kindred in the city to an informal
congress on Friday evening in the basement of the "Once & Future Things"
Antique and Collectibles emporium on Providence's West End. The gathering
will be held in the basement. There will be guest speakers from the major
Covenants in the city, who will answer public inquiries and debate matters
of philosophy and sociology. The subcontext of this meeting is a refresher
course for new or newly awakened Kindred.

OoC Teaser:

     If you enjoy social interaction, philosophical debate, mental puzzles,
a hand of cards, and a slim chance of throwing a punch or two, you are well
inclined to enjoy these sessions. The evenings' plots are not directly
linked, so feel free to attend any sessions you wish.
