Hello,
As DST/DC (I AM Providence), I want to extend a HUGE thank you to
everyone who supported C4 this past weekend. It wasn't what we expected,
especially with the guest of honor getting ill at the last minute, but for
everyone who shelled out considerable sums to stand by the club, help put up
flyers, push our game to the console-gamers, etc. I truly appreciate it. I
can't offer much, but everyone who attended gets 5 XP per game and should
see me regarding DT.
I also wish to extend a grand thank you to John Tyler, without whom C4
would not have been possible. In addition to his moral and organizational
grunt support, his Mage game was the highlight of the weekend. I am honoured
to have him as our domain's VST for that venue. He followed it up with a
spectacular display on Sunday, proving that he has grown a great deal in the
few months he has been in the position. His comfort with genre is obvious
and he handled the most difficult situation for any game master (a dozen
blood-thirsty PCs tenaciously dogging and destroying the prized NPC you were
building into a big villain). Best of all, he did it with grace, composure,
and style, giving us the win we all desperately craved. He never once used
ST Cheese to let the bad guy escape, he played it fair and well and everyone
of his players stepped up to meet the challenge he prepared for them.
Thank you John, thank you Providence, for making this weekend one of
the best this club has seen. I can't wait to keep the momentum going!

P.S.- In case anyone hasn't heard, Peter won the VST Requiem election and
will be the co-lead for Friday's game. Yay Peter!
