Good Evening Everyone!

     It is with great pleasure that I announce the Rhode Island games for
the month of October. As you know, this month Rhode Island is the featured
GotM and we look forward to letting everyone from Maine to Manhattan (and
beyond) get a taste of what we makes our games great. To insure that
everyone can enjoy the Rhode Island game we are expanding our normal
schedule and providing a whole weekend of events.
     There will be Requiem on Friday and Mage on Sunday, as typical, however
we're squeezing in even more sessions on Saturday, a feat unprecedented in
our history. The RI Convention Center will open their doors to us for an
entire day of fun. Please read the following for more details and stay tuned
since further information will be forthcoming.


Rhode Island Games of the Month:______________________________

VAMPIRE the REQUIEM
Where: 24 Anthony Drive, Cumberland, RI 02864
When: Friday, October 20, 2006
Time: 7:00p Soft RP/Character Check-In; 8:00p Hard RP

Directions:

i. From North
1. Take 95 South to exit 4 (295 South)
2. Take 295 South to Exit 10 (Rte 122)
3. At the end of the ramp, turn right onto a bridge crossing back over the
highway.
4. You will encounter one light after the bridge, continue straight.
5. Take your first right, you will notice the road merging at the same point
at which you should turn right.

ii. From East/South (Providence)
1. Take 146 North to 295 North.
2. Take Exit 10 (Rte 122), it's the very next exit after you get on 295.
3. At the end of the ramp, turn right onto a bridge crossing back over the
highway.
4. You will encounter one light after the bridge, continue straight.
5. Take your first right, you will notice the road merging at the same point
at which you should turn right.

Premise: None stated yet, but DC Jon offers this unauthorized tidbit:
     Don Buonanno reclaimed the throne of Providence back into its rightful
Invictus hands one year ago. A gathering in honour of this great occasion is
being held and all are invited to pay their respects.
     Except the rabble-rousers from the southern isle of Newport who have
thrice attacked the sanctity of Providence in bold view of mortals. And the
lingering Morbus band who never seem to leave when they're ordered to. Those
whose faces have recently brought strife to the city's well-being (you know
who you are) should likewise avoid tainting this occasion. But everyone else
is totally welcome. Except the VII, but they're not around anywhere anyway.
Nope. Just like the werewolves, totally not here. Promise.

infant, both will be out of the game area prior to hard RP.

Directions:
>From the North: Interstate 95 South to Exit 22A. Follow the signs towards
Downtown/Convention Center. Go through the first light in the right hand
lane. Take your first right after the light. Take the next right onto
Exchange Street. After the next light, bear right between the Hotel and the
Convention Center to the North Garage.
>From the South: Interstate 95 North to Exit 22A. Follow the signs towards
Downtown/Convention Center. At the light, turn right onto Francis Street. At
the next light, go right onto Sabin Street. Bear right between the Hotel and
the Convention Center to the North Garage.
>From the East: Take 195 West. Merge onto 95 North to Exit 22A. Follow the
signs towards Downtown/Convention Center. At the light, turn right onto
Francis Street. At the next light, go right onto Sabin Street. Bear right
between the Hotel and the Convention Center to the North Garage.

Parking: There is a parking garage with rates available and some street

Site Notes: Be advised that this is rented public space, respect is
appreciated and Camarilla codes of conduct will be strictly enforced.
Food: As we will be in downtown Providence we will be an easy walk from a
great variety of restaurants, as well as the cafes located within the
building itself.
Crash Space: There are likewise a variety of hotels in the area and a brief
drive away. We have no special rates, but rooms will likely be plentiful
within the area.

MAGE the AWAKENING
Where: 1873 Broad St. Cranston
When: Sunday, October 22, 2006 (subject to site availability)

Directions:

>From points North of Cranston

1. Take 95 south to exit 16, Rte. 10.
2. Follow Rte 10 till you see Park Ave exit. Park Ave is Rt. 12.
3. Left onto Park Ave. You should be on Rt. 12 East. Follow Rte 12 East
until it ends.
3. Left onto Broad St.
4. Stop at 1873 Broad St.

>From Points South of Cranston

1. Take 95 North to Exit 16.
2. Bear right onto the Elmwood Ave. Ramp.
3. Continue onto Park Ave. Rt 12 East.
4. Follow Rte 12 East until it ends.
5 . Left onto Broad St.
6 . Stop at 1873 Broad St.

Look for a big yellow victorian house on left maybe three to four houses
up.

Premise: None provided by VST, allow me to suggest:
     The local haven for mages has been turned against its patrons and a
powerful enemy emerged from their very midst. Crammed into a makeshift safe
house, it can't be long before something hits the fan.

     As I said, more details are coming. In order to accommodate the extra
venue space, we will be requesting reasonable site fees for our games this
month. A complete fee list will be posted along with a schedule for Saturday
and game teasers by the end of next week. Pre-registration will be available
and preferred.
     We look forward to seeing everybody (and I do mean everybody) at our
double-helping of Rhode Island games October 20-22. Please do not hesitate
