Subject: [Us-announce] Voluntary prestige reviews - June 2002

Yet again, it's time to accept a new chunk of prestige logs for the
voluntary national review program. You are now eligible for this
optional review if you have prestige awards dating back to June of
2002 or earlier (not counting awards already locked at national). If
you would like your log reviewed, please send your log up the chain as
normal.

Once your log is approved at national, your point total will be locked
and you will be able to simply include that total as a single line
item to start your new log. Those line items will never need to be
reviewed again. This will also save all kinds of data entry when we
officially move prestige tracking to the CRD.

This voluntary prestige review is open to all MC levels provided that
your log contains at least one prestige entry from June of 2002 or
earlier, not counting awards that have already been locked at
national. Your log must still be approved by your normal coordinator
chain (CC -> DC -> RC) before going to national, just like any other
prestige review. Be sure to also include any documentation for your
awards just like you would when applying for MC advancement.

This is not a requirement. This is an optional, voluntary review.

If you have any questions, please direct them to your normal
coordinator chain, as it's likely they will have the answers already,
or be able to get them quickly.
