I know most of you have (sigh) sadly decided to let the chronicle die in RI.
But for those few with any stirrings of interest, I think this sounds like
a great opportunity. I for one, think I'll take it up if possible.

>>
>>On the State of the Dreaming
>>
>> Changeling has been one of our most vibrant venues since its
>> inception, one that has suffered as many setbacks as moments of true
>> wonder and brilliance. Changeling: The Dreaming has truly been one of
>> the most involved and involving of the Venues of the Club. Its player
>> base is some of the most die hard and rabid and it has touched many
>> different types of stories since its start.
>>
>> Changeling's tenacity was such that even though plans to recreate the
>> World of Darkness did not originally include Changeling in it's plan,
>> the determination, showmanship and dedication to this venue swayed the
>> designers to consider the possibilities and at Gen Con of this year,
>> we were allowed to share in the proof that determination and not
>> losing faith can pay off. The New World of Darkness Changeling will
>> have its debut in 2007. Sometime in the next year we'll be able to
>> kick off something new with the passion that has kept the old game
>> alive for so long.
>>
>> But the biggest question is what does this mean for our current
>> chronicle? After a lot of discussion and some serious thought, we've
>> come up with a plan that will not only allow us to end the Changeling
>> Chronicle well, but also to for a brief period of time fulfill a dream
>> that many of the Fae Players have yearned for since the books original
>> release.
>>
>> It was a tough decision about what to disclose and what not to
>> disclose, and in an effort to reward the patience of Changeling
>> Players and Storytellers and with advice from random members from
>> general player up the chain to various levels of STs, it's been
>> decided to give you at least a taste.
>>
>> From now until ICC and through the end of the year, we will be placing
>> the elements into play to END the Changeling: The Dreaming chronicle
>> in local and regional local wrap up games. The Mundane world will
>> have its final show of heroism, drama, tragedy, love, hope, death, and
>> joy. Those that want to go out with a grand hurrah will be allowed
>> to do so, and the game that we have known and loved will be over.
>>
>> However, for those interested and willing to pursue the secrets behind
>> the Dreams crafted after so many long years, for those that have
>> dreamed and aspired to delve into the hidden and unwritten mysteries
>> of the Fae Origins, they may continue on for a brief time to explore
>> the first and last Fae frontier. There will be an option solely for
>> those interested to play out in a specially crafted setting for a
>> limited time... something that has tickled the fancy of Changeling
>> Players everywhere.
>>
>> Those Fae chosen have a chance to Fight for the chance at a New
>> Spring... in Arcadia. Not a "New Arcadia," but the same one we have
>> been looking for, for the past 8+ years.
>>
>> Now with the need to take a lot of bold and energized steps toward the
>> future, there have been some changes on a long-term temporary basis
>> during this time of transition. Sean Morris and his staff worked
>> tireless during the last few months to take the steps necessary to
>> bring us to this point and with the pressures of real life outside the
>> cam rearing its ugly head he's been forced to hand the torch off.
>>
>> That said, please welcome Erin Warren Murdock to the role of incoming
>> AAMST Settings: Dreaming's End, it is our intent that she work with
>> the current national affiliates and changeling staff so that the
>> creative work necessary in the coming months can be developed full
>> steam, and so the ground work prepared behind the scenes can finally
>> be implemented for the enjoyment of all. Erin can be reached via email
>> at EITHER: dreamingsend at gmail.com OR aamst.dreaming at gmail.com
>>
>> Note she has been added to these lists can be contacted via them at
>>this time.
>>
>> I would like to thank Mr. Morris and his staff for the work they laid
>> out thus far and wish them the best in future endeavors.
>>
>>
>> So in brief:
>>
>> 1. The New Chronicle will be using the NWoD Changeling debuting in
>> 2007, most assuredly a few months after that books release. That
>> information is not subject to release at this time.
>>
>> 2. We do not want or expect Storytellers to change or extend their
>> current plots, they've been gearing toward an end at ICC and the end
>> of the year, keep that timetable, what is to follow is very different
>> than anything anyone has played in before.
>>
>> 3. Play after ICC will be different but will cover the time from Late
>> December/January until July/August.
>>
>> 4. Changeling STs will be given details and descriptions of the next
>> step as they develop.
>>
>> 5. There WILL be closure for those Players that desire it at ICC.
>>
>> 6. Our new AAMST Dreaming's End is Erin Warren Murdock and is
>> contactable at dreamingsend at gmail.com
>>
>>
>> Kind regards,
